Can I participate as a part-time student with a business idea?
No, you are not eligible. Participants must either be full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students to be eligible.
If I already have admission but yet to be matriculated but I have a business idea, can I participate?
No… You must submit a verifiable matriculation number to participate.
Is a VBank Account compulsory for this registration process?
Yes, it is compulsory for 2021 application.
If I am shortlisted and need to proceed to the Bootcamp, who would be responsible for my
transportation, accommodation and feeding?
The organizers will foot that. However, you have to be accommodating and a team player with other participants.
Let’s say I belong to a team and our team is shortlisted, would we all need to travel or we have to
send representatives?
You have to send a representative.
Can any business venture or idea apply?
Yes, all legal business ideas/ventures are acceptable..
If I stay around the Bootcamp, can I come and go daily or I have to also camp there with other finalists?
The Bootcamp is fully residential for all participants.
After registration, how long does it take to get a reply from the organizers?
The registration period lasts for 8weeks from September 1st – October 31st, screening commences immediately after for 3weeks. Shortlisted candidates are contacted after the screening.
When and where will the Bootcamp take place?
November 28 – December 3, 2021 in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria
Can I invite family members and friends to cheer me up during my pitch session at the grand finale?
Yes, but you must inform the Organizers because attendance at the grand finale is strictly by invitation.
